Recovery Coach and Sober Coach Services
Most newly sober individuals (those who have struggled for years to either get sober or to remain sober) are faced with many realities in their lives: there is the need to repair relationships, both professional and personal (if possible); and, often there is a need to regain the trust of the loved ones and individuals in our lives who were harmed by our actions.
But there is something equally as positive and freeing for a newly sober individual, in that he or she has greater hope for the future. Perhaps, there were jobs that didn’t fulfill the individual and he or she secretly harbored dreams of another life. Maybe the individual is in need of basic life coaching services – a guide to help steer he or she through the myriad issues involved in creating a life, such as resume building and networking. Each individual has his or her own story of what they hope to accomplish. My work with clients begins by identifying those goals; by establishing a system of forward thinking movement in one’s life, such as maintaining sobriety; determining the appropriate next steps for the individual in his or her professional and personal life; and, then working to draft a plan that seems manageable in a world that had become less so. We undergo this process as partners. I help to identify resources that will be of benefit to my clients and we get to work. And I believe in the power of the integration of life-coaching and sober coaching for individuals who are ready to create a new draft of their lives.
